ISRO creates history, country's most powerful communication satellite GSAT-30 launched.

The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has launched communication satellite GSAT-30 from the European Space Agency in the early hours of Friday through the Ariane-5 launch vehicle. GSAT-30 was dispatched via Ariane-5 at 2.35 pm Indian time.

GSAT-30 will replace INSAT-4A and will have greater coverage capacity. INSAT-4A was launched in the year 2005. His weight is 3357 kg. This satellite provides coverage to the Indian mainland and islands in the Ku band, Gulf countries in the C band, a large number of Asian countries and Australia. This is the 24th satellite of India, which has been launched by the Ariane rocket of Arianespace.

It is being told that GSAT satellite with a mission duration of 30 years is a functional communication satellite for DTH, television uplink and VSAT services. ISRO said that GSAT-30 communication payload GACO has been specially designed to put maximum transponders in this spacecraft. 

Accordingly, it will be widely used for VSAT networks, television uplinking, teleport services, digital satellite news archiving (DSNG), DTH television services, etc.
