What Is A Drone 🚀

UAV Technology :
UAV Technology is seen as new innovation and big investment opportunities are bringing advanced Drones to the market every few months. The fast pace of UNMANNED AERIAL VEHICLE (UAV) Technological innovation is tremendous.
UAVs are either controlled by a Person on the ground or autonomously via a Computer Automated Program.

Radar Positioning and GPS Navigation System :
UAVs come in a wide range of varieties and sizes. The concept came in existence for Military purposes such as the Predator drone. UAVs are generally used to cover large geographical areas, geographical surveying or to combat wildlife poaching.
Nowadays many of the latest drones are coming with Global Navigational Satellite Systems (GNSS) such as GPS Technology and GLONASS Technology. High accuracy of Navigation System is more important when flying a Drone for Geospatial Surveys, to build 3D Maps and in Search and Rescue (SAR) Operations.

Return To Home Feature :
Most of the latest Drones come with 3 types of Return to Home Technology Features as follows :
  • The pilot initiated “Return To Home” Button on Remote Controller.
  • “Low Battery Level” where the Drone will automatically fly back to Home.
  • Loss of Transmission signals between the Drone and Remote Controller.

UAVs LED Flight Indicators and Cameras :
Led Flight Indicators are found at the rear and front of the Drone. The rear LED Indicator shows the drones current flight status while flying. The new latest Drones comes with HD Zoom Camera Feature that will help you to joy Photography and HD Video Recording.
Drones coming with an integrated Aerial Zoom Camera allows for more industrial uses such as inspecting wind turbines and cell towers to get a very detailed look at wires, structures, components modules to detect damage etc…

Innovative Technological UAVs :
Chinese Technology company DJI is the market leader in Easy-To-Fly drones and Aerial Photography Integrated Drones. The company has a great command over Consumer and Professional Drone Market.
  • DJI Spark: Small Selfie Drone which is always ready to take off from the palm of your hand.
  • DJI Mavic Pro: Small Foldup Drone with front and downward collision avoidance sensors and filming capabilities.
  • DJI Phantom 4 Pro: with “Vision” Collision Avoidance Technology. Multi-purpose Drone including 4k aerial filming, photography.
  • DJI Inspire 2: Patented design and motors.  Multi-purpose drone with gimbals for professional 5k aerial filming, photography, photogrammetry, multispectral and thermal imaging.
  • Yuneec Typhoon H Pro uses the patented Intel “Realsense” Collision Avoidance Technology. Great for professional aerial photography and filming.
  • Walkera Voyager 4: A Professional drone with 18x optical zoom camera which makes it perfect for site surveying and searches and rescue.
  • DJI Matrice 200 Commercial Quadcopter: Inbuilt redundancy with dual battery, IMU and Satellite navigation systems.  Can mount 2 cameras under the quadcopter. Ability to mount a camera on top of Matrice 200 which makes surveying of bridges real easy.  6 directions of collision avoidance using ToF laser, Ultrasonic and Vision sensors.
